"When I first started homeschooling, I felt completely lost. I did what most people do, I joined all the Facebook groups, asked a million questions, and tried to figure out what everyone else was using. What curriculum is best? What should I avoid? There were so many voices, so many opinions, and so many different approaches. Honestly, it was overwhelming. 

I ended up spending so much money trying different curriculums that just didn’t work for my family. I was frustrated, discouraged, and at one point, I genuinely wanted to give up. No one really talks about the expectations you carry into homeschooling, especially when you were raised in public school. I didn’t realize how much I was trying to recreate that same structure and those same standards for my kids… and it just wasn’t working.
