I'm Melissa, a mom of three who genuinely loves the life of a homeschool mom.
What started as a commitment to educate my own children quickly grew into a deep appreciation for thoughtful curriculum, structure, and the freedom homeschooling provides.
Before moving to Texas, I was a teacher at a private school, where I worked primarily with children ages 4–6. During that time, I saw how much joy and wonder can be cultivated in the early years, and how a structured, nurturing environment can build both confidence and a love for learning.
I deeply enjoy planning — building schedules, organizing materials, and creating a flow that makes learning feel both intentional and sustainable. But I also genuinely believe one of the joys of homeschooling can be how school can flexibly become a part of your unique life.
Over the years, I’ve experienced firsthand how overwhelming homeschooling can be— both at the beginning and when things stop working. But I don’t believe it has to feel chaotic or confusing. With the right tools, structure, and support, homeschooling can become a life-giving rhythm for your family.
Walk With You Homeschooling began simply
as a homeschool mom who loves curriculum and has a passion for teaching. I found myself stepping in when the moms around me began asking the question I hear repeatedly, “Where do I even start?”
Having a passion for homeschooling I was eager to help. I helped them choose curriculum, order what they needed, and walk through material once it had arrived.
What started as a few conversations with friends beginning their homeschooling journey, quickly became something more. I recognized a need that brought me joy to fill.
Some moms simply need a boost of confidence to begin. Others want ongoing support as they find their rhythm and build a homeschool system that works for their family.
I’m not an expert in every method or philosophy of homeschooling — but I am deeply passionate about it. And I care about helping other moms feel supported, capable, and confident as they walk this path.
